Gamestop Online Data Breach Exposes Payment Information

Gamestop has admitted that there has been a possible data breach that compromised credit card information from online sales between September 2016 and February 2017.

The data breach includes card numbers, expiration dates, cardholder addresses and even the three-digit security number. It is believed that attacked planted malware on the Gamestop website to harvest the sensitive information before it was transmitted.
